As a former attorney and trust officer, Ellen is a valuable member of our team and offers much knowledge and experience to help clients with their comprehensive financial planning needs. She works closely with families and individuals to provide honest and clear guidance to address each of their short- and long-term goals. Ellen strives to ensure her clients feel comfortable with the investment process and confident that they are doing all they can to save for their future.
Ellen entered the financial services industry in 2013. She was previously an Assistant Vice President & Trust Officer for Capital One, N.A., Wealth & Asset Management. Prior to entering the financial services industry, she had a successful career as an attorney in Beaumont, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She holds the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor designation.
Ellen is an active member of her community and has served on the board of directors of various non-profit agencies in Southeast Texas in various capacities. Originally from Lansing, Michigan, she has resided in the Southeast Texas area since 1992. Ellen and her husband, David, have two children, Madisen and Ashley.
With over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Joshua takes great pride in helping clients develop their monetary objectives and create a tailored plan that will enable them to effectively pursue their goals. He offers expertise to help individuals plan throughout multiple life stages and guidance in a wide range of services and strategies, including retirement planning, trust and estate planning, wealth preservation and asset allocation.
Joshua has been with Raymond James since graduating college and was previously a manager at Cavett, Turner & Wyble, L.L.P. He also taught principles of accounting and individual income taxation as an adjunct professor at Lamar University.
Joshua completed the Professional Program at Texas A&M University, allowing him to simultaneously earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in tax consulting and financial planning. He also studied at the University of Barcelona and traveled with the Texas A&M Singing Cadets, visiting England, Scotland and Wales and singing at St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.
A Beaumont, Texas, native, Joshua lives there with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Carter, Emily Claire, Lily Cate and Julianne. They enjoy traveling as much as they can, usually with their kids! An active member of his community, Joshua serves on Lamar University’s planned giving council. He also helped found and still serves on the board of Veritas Classical Academy and leads music for Riverside Church.
Ron Legnion, a seasoned independent financial advisor, has carved a remarkable path in the world of finance, spanning over several decades. Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with a drive for service and a keen mind for numbers, he embarked on a journey that would lead him to become a trusted advisor to individuals from all walks of life.
Ron’s journey began in the early 1970s when he served in the Infantry Reserve Unit in Houston, Texas, as a 0331 equals machine gunner with the 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines, 4th Marine Division. In 1970, he graduated from Lamar State College of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Education. In 1988, he took a significant step in his career by opening the first Edward Jones branch in Beaumont, Texas. In 1994, Ron made a strategic move to the independent side of Raymond James, expanding his reach and capabilities in the financial industry. This decision was pivotal because it empowered Ron to prioritize his clients’ interests above all else. He previously held various licenses, including Series 24, 53, 7, and 63, as well as the Life Accident Health and HMO licenses. In July 2022, he embarked on a new chapter in his career by co-founding Beaumont Wealth Advisors.
For Ron, the true measure of success lies in the testimonies of his clients, who consistently express a sense of relief and reassurance after each appointment. Angie wears many hats as a financial advisor and operations manager. At any given time, you may find her helping clients to identify their goals, preparing investment reports, managing portfolios, and meeting regularly with clients to review their accounts.
The families, business owners, retirees, and other individuals she serves rely on the comprehensive financial planning that includes essential matters such as estate planning and wealth preservation. She also has many company retirement plans [401(k)s] and pension plans under management. As a plan fiduciary, she helps clients with fund decisions, investment allocations, participant education schedules and fee benchmarking services.
Her experience as an accountant has given her insight into tax-efficient strategies such as tax loss harvesting, participating in 401(k)s and pension plans, and mitigating taxes through insurance planning.
Angie wants her clients to have confidence in their future and know they are able to achieve their dreams. She meets with them regularly, is available for any questions they have, and helps them understand the financial planning process.
Before Beaumont Wealth Advisors, Angie worked with Ron, Ellen, and Joshua at Raymond James. She also served as an accountant at Cavett, Turner and Wyble, LLP in Beaumont, Texas. Earlier, she served in the United Stated Army on active duty as an Ammunition Specialist for three years, and in the Army Reserves for one year. She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Lamar University.

In her free time, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her kids, working out when she has the time, and taking care of the cats that her kids insist they keep (though she secretly adores them too).

Of course, her meticulous nature ensures that attention is paid to every detail, reducing errors, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. She is an active member of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where she also serves as a youth minister. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and loving on their precious pets.
